Leaderboard Content Development HOMEPAGE

Leaderboard Talking Points:

The leaderboard is both an incentive to play tournaments, and a promotional tool for the skins, recognizing player achievement and enabling quantified, comparative ranking of the top players.

Designed to be a cumulative measure of player performance in our multi-table tournaments, the leaderboard is skin branded and linked to from the client, skins, and is a feature on the Tribeca Tables Poker Network website.

Objectives:

- inclusive, real measure of performance over time
- tight ranks - no large disparities
- accommodation of future growth in tournament size, entry fees
- transparency, simplicity, and accessibility of calculations
- automation enabled data gathering, processing, posting

Display Features:

- skin branding
- top 500 players
- searchable by player, date, rank
- upcoming tournaments

Prizes:

Prizes are awarded to players ranking at the top of the leaderboard.

Additional Features & Add-ons::

At the tournament level, players should be notified via automated emails how many leaderboard points have been earned. And as a board function, automated email notification can also notify players who make or advance rank on the leaderboard.

Technical Summary:

The leaderboard is an automated feature that is updated once daily, creating its own database and a static report from which the skins boards will be dynamically populated. The database will only need to be queried for searches. More info here: Data Processes.

Branded Content:

The content being developed on this site is intended to accompany the leaderboard through the data driven skins publishing process, and will be branded with specific skin names. This includes all title and meta tags.
