Glasgow, October 24th � Celtic Football Club have launched a poker room in the Tribeca Tables poker network, the World�s fastest growing poker network and leading poker solutions provider.

The joint venture in association with SoftWire Sports Marketing, branded as fcPokerRoom, have developed their first site for the UK soccer market in conjunction with Celtic Football Club, Scotland�s largest and most successful football club.

This fantastic facility will enable Celtic fans to book into a virtual poker room and pit their wits against fellow fans from anywhere in the world from the comfort of their own homes. Additionally, as the site develops, the network of players will increase to enable inter club tournaments, both nationally and internationally, where a Celtic Poker Team can compete with teams from other clubs across the globe.

Celtic Football Club, who are one of the oldest football clubs in the Scottish league, was founded in 1888. Celtic FC was the first British football club to win the European Cup in 1967. The famous team that took the trophy was known as the �Lisbon Lions� managed by the legendary Jock Stein and is celebrated as the �Year of Triumph�. Celtic are the current holders of the Scottish Championship and have won the league 40 times, the Scottish Cup 33 times and the League Cup 13 times.

Celtic fans will directly benefit their club as a proportion of the revenue generated from the poker site will be ploughed straight back into Celtic Football Club in an effort to assist with the new training facilities and youth development.
